Louvre windows and windows with existing grills. Grills must be removed before installation.

Do you offer a pet-friendly mesh?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Premium Mesh uses a stronger, cat-scratch-resistant weave, but scratch resistant does not mean claw-proof. Sharp claws can still puncture, tear, pull or deform the mesh, and the product is not a safety grille or guaranteed pet-containment system.

Do you offer a Price Beat Promotion?

Yes. If you submit an eligible, current and itemised quotation before order confirmation or payment of the initial 50 percent fabrication deposit, we will offer 5 percent below the verified total price for genuinely like-for-like products and installation. Is a deposit required?

A $100 measurement booking fee reserves the on-site visit and is credited towards the order if you proceed. After final specifications are approved, an initial 50 percent fabrication deposit is required to begin custom fabrication. The remaining 50 percent is due after installation.

Is the deposit refundable?

The 50 percent fabrication deposit is refundable before final specifications are approved and custom fabrication begins, less the $100 site visit and measurement fee. Once fabrication begins, it is non-refundable for cancellation or change of mind. Defective, incorrect or materially non-conforming work is handled under the inspection, repair and replacement terms.

Do you offer group buy discounts?

What is the typical lead time?

Once your final specifications are approved and the initial 50% fabrication deposit is received, we submit your custom mesh order for fabrication. The estimated lead time is approximately 4–5 weeks, and we will contact you when it is ready to arrange installation.

Do I need to prepare anything before installation?

Yes. Ensure window areas are clear and remove old screens. A $30 per window charge applies if the installer has to clear the area for complicated cases.

Should I choose drilling or No-Drill installation?

Accepted Answer

No-Drill installation avoids permanent drilling, but its suitability depends on the material, condition, cleanliness and strength of the supporting surface. Drilled installation provides stronger mechanical anchoring and may be recommended for heavy or highly active pets, high-contact openings or unsuitable mounting surfaces.

Standard Mesh includes a 1-year warranty, while Premium Mesh includes a 5-year warranty. Both commence on the installation date.

What does the warranty cover?

Accepted Answer

Manufacturing defects affecting the mesh, frame, and retractable coil mechanism under normal residential use.

What is not covered?

Accepted Answer

Normal wear and tear, misuse, improper handling, accidents, unauthorised repairs or modifications, deliberate or repeated excessive force, and holes, punctures, tears, pulled threads or deformation caused by pets' claws. Pet-claw damage is not a manufacturing defect, but unrelated manufacturing defects in covered components remain eligible.

Can I extend my Standard Mesh warranty?

Yes. Complete Tangerine's post-installation warranty registration and feedback process to receive 1 additional year, providing 2 years of Standard Mesh coverage in total. This extension does not apply to Premium Mesh.
